| Vacation Rental Facilities |
You can book your ferry/hydrofoil journey directly online at www.hsw.gr Or, we can arrange your ferry/hydrofoil tickets from the port of Piraeus to Hydra and return. However, we would have to charge you a service fee of 25% to cover our costs in doing so. Typically the fare for Piraeus to Hydra is 25 Euros one way, so if you want us to organise this for you we would have to charge you 31.25 Euros. The exact cost would be advised to you on booking and there are children discounts.
Each holiday property states the maid service included. If you require additional maid service, this can be organised when you arrive at Hydra at a current rate of 10 Euros per hour payable locally.
Your holiday rental includes water, electricity, meet and & greet service at Hydra port, baggage transfer by mule and a welcome pack of groceries.

- Hydrofoil tickets Piraeus Hydra Piraeus at cost plus 25% service fee
- Private Transfers in Mercedes Licensed Cars Maximum 3 persons or 2 adults/2 children plus luggage
- Athens central to/from to Piraeus 35 Euros
- Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos) Airport to/from Piraeus 55 Euros
- Athens central or airport to/from Metochi (mainland opposite Hydra 2.5 hours ) 215 Euros
- Athens central or airport to/from Metochi (mainland opposite Hydra) via stop at Corinth Canal and Epidavros Ancient Theatre 3.5 hours 255 Euros

From Metochi you have a choice of a private water taxi to Hydra cost 35 Euros maximum 6 persons, or the scheduled water bus Freedom at 6.50 Euros per person.
Additional Maid service 10 Euros per hour payable locally

| Between the mansions and little houses are narrow stone streets, with tavernas and shops on the waterfront. At night the area around the harbour is bustling with boats from modest fishing vessels to super-yachts bobbing up and down in the ancient harbour. Whilst walking back up through the town, it becomes quieter and calmer as one climbs the delightful meandering cobblestone streets. Hydra is not just a seasonal holiday resort. Its a place where people live all year round. The local community is quite unique, in addition to the greatly respected Hydriot families with their proud history, there has over the last 50 years been an influx of Greek and international artists and writers . |
