What to do in the region?
The region of Cova da Beira, by its diversity of scenery, is an exceptional starting point for visits to cultural, scenic or recreational purposes only. Starting Fundão is easy to visit the historic villages of New Castle, Sortelha, Belmonte, where socializing with well preserved historical remains and contemporary populations provide the opportunity for visitors to better understand the origins of our people and their ancestral customs .
