NAR'S HOTEL has an unusual architecture: the 18th century building is very long, perhaps to ensure that every inch of it enjoys the sea view.
We know this building for a very long time. A few years ago it was about to die. This time, we saw it in a new incarnation.. And it is delightful!
Partition walls were removed to create the most elegant lobby. The decor is ecclectic: natural colours and materials, chairs upholstered in sumptuous fabrics, antique-style furniture, left unvarnished, floaty linen curtains and Venice-style mirrors…
The tiny yard at the back, which contains citrus trees in large planters, serves multiple functions: an inviting open-air thermal jacuzzi with healing water at 40 degrees sits next to a glassed-in winter garden which contains a long dining table. At the pool, they offer Nar’s cocktails.
