The New England Bed and Breakfast guest accommodation has been a family run business since July 1981 and was formerly known as Kerwin Hotel.
Conscious of the growing needs of our long established customers, we decided to invest in a major refurbishment, and only re-opened in the new millennium, February 2000. Now a newly refurbished, twenty-five bedroom hotel, our image certainly reflects our high standards, service and quality accommodation, all at an affordable price. Our success is attributable to our continual investment to maintain standards, and our friendly helpful service.
The New England is set in the popular area of Pimlico, which forms part of the City of Westminster. The area is bounded by Vauxhall Bridge Road, the Thames River and the railway into Victoria Station. The area is brimming with history, with stucco-fronted terraces of the mid-19th century classical design, some of the largest opulent houses were built along St George's Drive where the New England Hotel resides. History is certainly preserved with the many Grade II listed buildings in the area. Also listed are the telephone kiosks in Belgrave Road and a cabman's shelter in St George's Square. |
