| Tranquillity is an Eco-Tourism Resort and the accommodation is Not the same as a normal Western Resort but is comfortable and perfect for someone who wants something different and of Island style. We have four Beachfront fares 2 lodges and 2 Dormitories, which appeal greatly to the divers and adventurous types. Fares are built in 'island style' and have a thatch roof and are insect-screened. The beds are comfortable. There is a single and one double bed in four of the fares (two fares have a double and 2 single beds). Our large family fare has a double bed and up to 7 singles and the dorm has ten singles. Each fare has its own private bathroom facilities, with hot and cold shower and flush toilet. Each fare has a small private beach area in front. |

| Resort Facilities |
The base is set up with Island style Beach House restaurant and bar at the northern end of the base, with compressor station, dive gear house and generator facility / workshop in the center, near the wharf. Accommodation fares are located at the southern end.
We operate dives on a Day basis or overnight. We normally do two dives a day mainly boat dives. Night dives shore dives can be arranged on request.
Tranquillity also has a sister company that operates in the same general area. This is Coongoola Cruises, which operates a 74' (23 meters) Sailing ketch. The Coongoola Day Cruise is an excellent day out away from it all. Guests at Tranquillity can join the cruise for a day during their stay.
Generated power is available (10.5 KVA) at different times during the day while pumping water or SCUBA tanks, for charging batteries etc, however most lighting is in theme with the Eco Tourism style of the base is using alternatives all fares have solar powered lights 24hours a day. Each fare is also provided with a torch and hurricane lantern.
There are battery charging facilities available for torches and cameras. We also have solar powered wireless Internet which is free of charge.
Meals and catering:
Tranquillity's catering is on a set menu system on a seven day, daily rotation basis with three quality meals per day as well as morning and afternoon tea/coffee. Any special dietary needs can be looked after provided we are advised in advance. Meals are served in the beach house which has large timber slab tables where many a yarn has been told. Due to our isolation, a meal package is included in our tariff. Beer softies and wine is available for purchase at the resort. |

| Tranquillity is a Dive Base and Eco-Tourism Resort, mixed with other outdoor 'get away from it all' activities on an extensive area of Moso island which is located off the north west side of the island of Efate, our mainland departure point is about a 35 minutes drive from Port Vila and Tranquillity is a 15 minute boat ride from the mainland. Many of our guests are also non-divers, they enjoy the atmosphere of Tranquillity and apart from just relaxing can join in our activities with snorkeling, bushwalking, canoeing, kayaking or just being with nature. Some even use the opportunity to do an Introductory Dive and other dive courses while on Tranquillity. Tranquillity is also great for families - younger children often enjoy being involved in the daily care of our Baby Turtles, the beach area is generally safe and calm for paddling as well. Teens enjoy the bushwalks and also the opportunity to learn to Dive. |
