After a 21 year renovation, a collection of three Spanish Colonial mansions, plus the the town's 18th Century Sugar Mill, are impressively connected with stone walkways, brick passageways and a stone footbridge set amidst six lushly landscaped acres. A vast array of original artwork, antiques, Spanish Colonial art, including Santos, Retablos and Ex-votos meticulously grace the estate and add magical ambience. Thus, the name was created, Hacienda de los Santos (House of the Saints).
Today, 23 guestrooms, suites and villas, La Dulce Vida Spa, the Hacienda Theater, Santiago's Bistro, Agave Café & Galeria (seasonal), Zapata's Cantina (seasonal), four elegant dining rooms, three pools, five fountains, Internet Room (complimentary), Valet parking in a secure private location, Hacienda Gym (across the street), Mountain Bikes and even more, are offered at the resort. |

DINING:
Guests may choose to dine in their rooms or spacious suites by the fireplace, or at one of the many intimate locations over-looking one of the three sparkling tiled pools and colorful Mexican gardens. There is casual dining for breakfast and lunch, during the winter season, at the "Agave Café & Galeria", fine dining in the evening outside the "Zapata's Cantina", or you may want to be casual and dine in the cantina. Also, by appointment rooftop dining for private parties of up to thirty persons at the "Treetop Grill", and summer dining at the Hacienda's newest fun spot, "Santiago's Bistro", which faces the street where Maximillian's troops battled in the 1860's. Along with bar selections, there are many fresh ground coffee options, including espresso, cappuccino, lattes and fresh brewed Chiapas coffee.

We have extensive experience in organizing weddings so you don't have to worry at all about the ceremony details. Our responsibilities include:

Hacienda de los Santos is located just 2 blocks from the main plaza, mercado and cathedral in Alamos. It is possible to stroll along the cobblestone streets and explore this Spanish Colonial gem on foot.
Housed in the Hacienda is a collection of religious art spanning four centuries, including Santos, Retablos and Ex-Votos. Adorning the rooms are antique Spanish Colonial furnishings. Each room is uniquely appointed. All rooms have wood burning fireplaces adding to the romantic experience of the Hacienda.
Nightlife is pleasant at the Hacienda and may include relaxing on one of the many portals, where most evenings a group of young Mexican men sing romantic ballads. One may also enjoy movies in the theater/conference room, or lectures on the architecture, history and ecosystem of the area. Another favorite is browsing the Haciendas extensive library. You may wish to end your day enjoying the star filled skies from above the Hacienda in the Mirador. There, you can gaze upon the spectacular and mysterious Sierra Madre Mountains while you enjoy the hospitality of the Hacienda de los Santos.
Margaritas and other favorite beverages may be enjoyed in our revolutionary era cantina. Outside the Hacienda walls you will find Mariachis, and the sweet life of a true small Mexican village at its best.
There are many intimate locations within the walls of the Hacienda for the perfect wedding. Our expert staff can assist in arrangements. Up to 200 guests may be accommodated for the reception.
The Hacienda has earned a reputation as a magnificent location for corporate retreats. With few distractions, business can be accomplished quickly, leaving plenty of time for your favorite activities and relaxation.
Summertime in Sonora is exquisitely beautiful, with the monsoon rains. The hillsides and mountains turn a luscious shade of green during this most beautiful season of the year. All bedrooms and dining rooms are air-conditioned.
